First Ever Success with Electronic Security at an Olympic Games

When Freshnet joined the Integrated Securities Unit to manage the Perimeter Intrusion Detection System project for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games - it was exciting and challenging indeed.
Well, Team Canada had it's best performance ever - and so did electronic security!
Despite the enormous challenges, the Closed Circuit Video Equipment (CCVE) and software systems worked flawlessly, enabling Canada's security forces to deploy thousands fewer personnel during this important event.
This was the first time that an electronic perimeter intrusion detection system has ever been successfully utilized at an Olympic Games.
