SFU Selects Freshnet to Assist with Business Process Management

Simon Fraser University is subject to the British Columbia Criminal Records Review Act (CRRA). Recent amendments to the CRRA that affect post-secondary institutions will come into effect on January 1, 2012.
The CRRA helps protect:
- Children from individuals whose criminal record indicates they pose a risk of physical or sexual abuse
- Vulnerable adults from individuals whose record indicates they pose a risk to physical, sexual or financial abuse
A project was created by the University to ensure compliance with these changes. SFU has asked Freshnet to lead this important project
