MEC Selects Freshnet to Manage Critical System Upgrade

Mountain Equipment Co-op relies on its core computer systems to serve its members. With outlets across Canada and an active ecommerce website, MEC's systems need to be up-to-date and operational virtually 24/7.
MEC selected long-time partner Freshnet to manage the upgrade of its core IBM iSeries hardware as well as the implementation of a new operating system. This upgrade must be carefully orchestrated to mnimize impact on operations and to ensure the Co-op is ready for the key holiday season which is fast approaching.
Freshnet is pleased to continue providing leadership and support for MEC's mission critical systems.
